Hello there,
Helping my mother submit a claim to her medical insurance for potential coverage, should it be rejected by Delta Dental.
Does anyone have a medical code for D7953? (RELATED to future dental implant) and D7473 (Removal of Torus, Mandibularis)? Thank you!

D7953 - bone replacement graft for ridge preservation - per site
Can be cross coded to:
21210 - Graft, bone; nasal, maxillary or malar areas (includes obtaining graft)
21215 - Graft, bone; mandible (includes obtaining graft)
**use modifier -52 for reduced services when bone is not obtained from patient
D7473 - removal of torus mandibularis
can be crosscoded to:
21031 - Excision of torus mandibular
