Marvin Harrison Jr. addresses drops as Cardinals continue to rely on former top pick
In the first half of Thursday Night Football, Marvin Harrison Jr.’s worst nightmare played out on national television. By the time the Arizona Cardinals trotted into the locker room for intermission down 14-3, Harrison had been targeted on four incompletions — one drop, two miscommunications, one poor throw. Two of them, including the drop, led directly to interceptions.
Six days later — his first time speaking with reporters since the defeat — Harrison was asked whether he ever faced that much adversity in a game.
“Uhhh,” Harrison responded, pausing as he searched his memory. “Nah. Nah, I would say that’s probably the first time.”
