Bimatoprost eye drops are a prescription medication primarily used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension by lowering eye pressure and preventing damage to the optic nerve. The drops work by increasing the outflow of fluid from inside the eye, helping to keep vision safe.
Interestingly, one of the side effects of Bimatoprost is eyelash growth. Many people notice their lashes becoming longer, thicker, and darker while using the drops. Because of this, Bimatoprost has also been developed into cosmetic products and serums for enhancing eyelashes.
However, it’s important to note that Bimatoprost is a prescription-only medication. If you’re considering it for glaucoma treatment or cosmetic use, you should consult an eye doctor to ensure it’s safe and appropriate for your needs. Misuse may cause irritation, eye redness, or even changes in eye color in rare cases
